About Me

I am Registered Clinical Counsellor who provides individual therapy to youth and adults through my private practice, Lucid Living Therapy, in Victoria, British Columbia. I was born in Quebec, and raised in Canada, the United States, India, and Viet Nam. At McGill University and the University of British Columbia, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies. I completed my first Master's degree in Global Communication jointly through Simon Fraser University and the Communication University of China in Beijing. An enduring theme and question across my studies and travels was how people make sense of themselves, others, and the world. My volunteer work through Writers’ Exchange, a charitable organisation that offers free literacy programmes for under-resourced youth in Vancouver's downtown east side, gave me insight into the therapeutic potential of nonjudgmental relationships within supportive (and supported) communities. I pursued my Master's of Counselling Psychology at the University of Victoria, training in psychotherapy with children, youth, adults, and families. I believe that therapy is one of many ways people can more deeply and clearly experience, and engage in, their lives.
